This temple was completed between 380-362 BC in the Ptolemaic era and is well-preserved. It is dedicated to honoring Isis, the goddess of motherhood and healing, who is also the wife of Osiris, the ruler of the Underworld, and the mother of Horus, the god of divine victory.
