You will find two majestic temples there, one of them was dedicated to King Ramses II and he decided to make it a masterpiece, so he attaches it to his birthday & his coronation days in what we call today’s Sun Festival. He also wanted to show his deep affection to his wife Nefertari so he built a smaller temple for her that was dedicated to his wife.
