Overview

Experience an incredible Luxor tour departing from Cairo by flight. This adventure includes visits to renowned sites like Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East bank, as well as exploration of the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple on the West bank. Throughout the day, you’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable Luxor And Aswan Travel representative who will guide you on this unforgettable journey.

Our representative will arrange for your hotel pickup in Cairo, and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be warmly greeted and assisted by your Egyptologist guide, who will be your companion throughout the day as you explore the following remarkable historical sites:

1. **Valley of the Kings**: Your journey begins with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. You’ll start with a stop at the valley’s visitor center for an introduction. From there, you’ll venture into the inner rock-cut chambers and tunnels of this ancient burial ground. Please note that guides are not permitted to accompany you inside the tombs, but your guide will provide detailed descriptions of what to look for before you enter. As you walk through the colorful, hieroglyph-covered corridors, you’ll witness painted chambers that once housed the remains of Egypt’s pharaohs. If you desire, you can choose to pay an additional fee to enter the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

2. **Hatshepsut Temple**: Next on the agenda is a visit to the stunning Hatshepsut Temple. It is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful temples from ancient Egypt. This temple was constructed on three levels with two broad ramps positioned centrally to connect the levels together.

3. **Colossi of Memnon**: You’ll then encounter the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III, which are the sole remnants of a once complete mortuary temple. These statues are crafted from quartzite sandstone blocks that were transported from Cairo, a distance of 700 kilometers to Luxor.

After your exploration, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch on an island, and your tour will encompass a boat trip on the Nile River. Following lunch, your tour continues with a visit to:

4. **Karnak Temples**: Karnak Temples is an awe-inspiring site in Egypt. It stands as the largest temple complex ever constructed by humans. It represents the combined achievements of numerous generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak actually comprises three main temples, spanning a vast 247 acres of land.

Finally, at the conclusion of your Luxor tour, you’ll be transferred to Luxor airport for your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, marking the end of this unforgettable journey.
