Upon your arrival at Luxor airport or station, our dedicated Imperial Egypt representative will promptly arrange your transfer to your Nile Cruise using a private A/C van. It’s important to complete the embarkation process by 12:00 PM.

In the afternoon, you’ll embark on an exploration of Luxor’s East bank, which includes a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples Complex. These temples hold the distinction of being the largest structures ever constructed in human history. The primary edifice within this complex is dedicated to the god Amun Ra, as it was believed to be the earthly abode of the deity. While the initial structures date back to the Middle Kingdom, references suggest even earlier constructions, possibly as far back as the 3rd dynasty.

Following your visit to Karnak, your journey will lead you to the Temple of Luxor. This temple, situated in the heart of ancient Thebes, was constructed by one of the kings from the 12th dynasty and later completed by the renowned King Ramses II. Similar to Karnak, it was devoted to the principal deity, Amun Re.

After a fulfilling day of exploration, you will be transferred back to your cruise ship to relax and rejuvenate. In the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show presented by our staff. Dinner will be served on board, and you’ll spend the night in Luxor. In the afternoon, your adventure continues with an exploration of the Temple of Kom Ombo, a sacred site where the deities Sobek and Haroeris were once revered. Following this enriching experience, you’ll return to your cruise ship to enjoy another delectable meal.

Take in the mesmerizing scenery from the sun deck as you watch the unique landscape of the great River Nile unfold before your eyes—a landscape that gave rise to the ancient Egyptian civilization.

As night falls, dinner will be served on board as your cruise continues its journey toward the city of Aswan. Late in the evening, you’ll arrive in Aswan for an overnight stay.

Your tour of Aswan begins with a visit to The High Dam, a monumental structure erected in 1960 AD by the Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser. This engineering marvel serves the crucial purpose of safeguarding Egypt from the annual Nile flood.

Next, you’ll experience a delightful motorboat ride on the Nile River, leading you to the picturesque Agilika Island. Here, you’ll have the privilege of visiting the Temple of Philae, a splendid testament to the Graeco-Roman period, dedicated to the revered goddess Isis, the mother of god Horus.

Your day’s adventure will culminate with a visit to the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk, a colossal creation hewn from red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra.

Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simbel Temples

For those seeking an extraordinary adventure, we offer an optional excursion to the remarkable Abu Simbel temples. You can choose to travel either by private coach or by domestic flight. In Aswan, our English-speaking tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to Abu Simbel. This site is located south of Aswan on the western bank of the Nile, approximately 180 miles south of the First Cataract, within what was once Nubia. The site, known as Meha in ancient times, was initially documented during the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels carved into the hills to the south.

Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, you’ll have the privilege of visiting the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples, constructed by the renowned King Ramses II. The larger temple, known as the Great Temple, was dedicated to the revered god Rahorakhty. The smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramses II himself and his beloved queen, Nefertari.

After a captivating day of exploration, you will return to Aswan, where you can choose to either check in and relax at your selected hotel or proceed to Aswan airport for your domestic flight to Cairo.
